Publications

Our aim is to provide a wide variety of high quality publications which we hope will stimulate debate and analysis about employment law policies and legal developments in industrial relations. The work is commissioned on a voluntary basis and reflects the views of the authors.

Projects

As well as producing booklets by individual authors, the Institute also organises collective research projects. These involve bringing together groups of experts into Working Groups to develop ideas around specific issues. The end result is usually a larger publication involving a number of different contributors.

Commissions

The Institute is happy to make its network of experts available to assist individual organisations with particular research projects. If you are interested in commissioning a specific piece of work, please contact Carolyn Jones at Head Office to discuss a possible outline, schedule and cost.

Consultation Responses

The Institute's network of labour law specialists regularly produce submissions and responses to consultations on new developments in legislation.

Conferences and Seminars

We have been providing conferences and seminars on the latest developments in labour law for many years. All our conferences are accredited by the Law Society and Bar Council and attract CPD points. Our speakers reflect the membership of the Institute with a balance of academics, lawyers and trade unionists.

Briefings

The Institute produces briefings on developments in labour law for trade unionists, legislators, the press and the public.
